Building brighter futures, one brick at a time.
We bring joy, creativity, and encouragement to children in foster care — pairing LEGO® sets with handwritten letters that remind every kid someone is cheering for them.
Small bricks. Big impact.
Children in foster care often move between homes with very little to call their own. A LEGO set is more than a toy — it's something that belongs to them, builds confidence and creativity, and comes with a handwritten note that says: you matter.
How it works
Three simple steps turn donated bricks into moments of joy.
You give
Donate funds through PayPal, or pass along new and gently used LEGO® sets through our local collection partners.
We build the gift
Every set is cleaned, checked, and paired with a handwritten letter of encouragement from a volunteer.
A child builds joy
Sets are delivered to children in foster care across our community — a gift that is truly their own.
Started by a student who believed play could change a life
The BrightBrick Project was founded in 2025 by Piper Boss, a student at Helena High School who saw how much stability and creativity a simple LEGO® set could offer a child in foster care. What began as one teenager's idea has grown into a community effort, brick by brick.
